The Secret to Fat Loss

Want to know the secret to sustainable weight loss? EAT SLOWLY. 

It takes between 20-25 minutes for your brain to catch up with your belly.  But most of us barely take time to breath while we plow through a meal. 

Here are 3 benefits (of many) to eating slowly:

#1 You will eat less. Giving your brain time to catch up with your stomach, you will feel full sooner. 

#2 You will make better choices. You will be more aware of your eating decisions and inevitably make better choices.

#3 You will have fewer cravings. You were meant to enjoy food.  Giving yourself a chance to taste and savor food will satisfy natural cravings for taste and texture and reduce cravings. 

How long does it normally take you to finish a meal?  Try timing yourself to get an average.  Then set a goal to add a few minutes, working your way up towards 25 minutes.
