Zoom Back Pain

Nearly 80% of adults experience low-back pain.  It’s the #2 reason people visit the family doc.

Now that we are working from home in non-ergonomic environments, those numbers will only go up. Pain meds or constant visits to the chiropractor may offer temporary relief, but they take a toll on your body and your wallet.

Here are 3 simple habits that can improve low back pain:

#1 Stand up OFTEN.

Sitting creates tension in your hips and is a major cause of low back pain.  Remember “Motion is Lotion.”  Get up and move.

#2 Find a tennis ball and sit on it.

Tension in your hips creates low back pain.  Roll around on your glutes and release the tension.  (Here’s a good video with a guy actually wearing his shirt)

#3 Practice daily movement for mobility
